Summary

	The Phase III dark trooper was the last and most powerful battle droid designed by the Dark Trooper Project. Although in equal height to the Phase II dark trooper, it was far stronger and more durable. This culminated into the fact it was intended to be the armor of the next generation of stormtroopers. Had the project come to full realization, it would have produced the perfect battlefield infantry unit - a combination of a clone's creativity, unpredictability, and initiative combined with the resilience and firepower of a heavy battle droid. Phase III's black armor was made of the nearly indestructible metal phrik, it provided superior protection against enemy fire including energy weapons such as lightsabers. Read more...
